Angela Taylor
Angela is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, seeing patients in both our Waukon and Postville Clinics. She has 25 years of nursing experience from the Regional Medical Center in Manchester where she worked in a variety of nursing roles. She chose to become a PMHNP to provide a positive impact and improve the quality of life for individuals and the community.
Angela’s years of nursing taught her how mental well-being affects multiple aspects of one’s life, including physical health, and strives to meet the needs of her patients to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Dave Schwartz
Dr. Dave Schwartz is the medical physician provider in the Veterans Memorial Hospital Medical Clinic. He has been serving this community since 1995 when he began his employment with Mayo Waukon Clinic and Veterans Memorial Hospital. He sees patients in the clinic as well as the hospital, and especially enjoys Maternity Services. Dr. Schwartz was awarded the Iowa Hospital Association Hospital Hero Award in October, 2017, for his dedication to rural health care and obstetrics.

Dr. Olaitan Akinboboye
Dr. Akinboboye joined our team in August 2026, providing a physican option to our Postville Medical Clinic. Dr. Akinboboye is passionate about health promotion and partnering with patients to improve their overall quality of life. He lived and trained in the midwest for many years and was drawm to the warmth and strong sense of community in this area. He provides family medicine at the Waukon Clinic on Mondays and in the Postville Clinic on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Wm. “Skip” Loebig
Skip has been providing anesthesia services since September of 1993. He worked in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan for the first ten years of his career at Marquette General Hospital a large regional medical center. In 2004 he stated doing travel anesthesia in many different areas of the country in both academic medical centers and rural hospitals. Skip joined VMH in 2007 and has been providing care to our community since that time.
